I am a Level 1 Reserve Police Officer and Reserve Sergeant with the Montclair Police Department, where I have proudly served the community for more than 23 years. My law enforcement career has been defined by professionalism, accountability, and service, with responsibilities that include patrol operations, emergency response, criminal investigations, report writing, evidence handling, and courtroom testimony.

Throughout my tenure, I have been entrusted with leadership and specialized assignments, including mentoring and training reserve and junior officers, supporting departmental initiatives, and contributing to public safety presentations and training programs. I take pride in maintaining high standards of conduct, preparedness, and ethical decision-making.

My service has been recognized with multiple honors, including Reserve Officer of the Year awards in 2011, 2012, 2019, and 2024, as well as commendations for outstanding police work and exceptional service hours. These recognitions reflect a sustained commitment to public safety and community trust.

I maintain active affiliations with multiple law-enforcement associations, allowing me to stay current on legal standards, investigative practices, and officer safety principles, while fostering strong professional relationships across agencies.

In addition to my sworn duties, I bring over 34 years of experience in asset protection, risk management, and complex investigations within the private sector. In my current leadership role, I oversee large-scale security operations, lead investigations involving organized retail crime, and work closely with local, state, and federal law-enforcement partners. This experience enhances my investigative skill set, situational awareness, and ability to manage high-risk environments, capabilities that directly support my effectiveness in law enforcement.

I also provide risk assessment, safety planning, and incident response support for large community organizations and public gatherings, focusing on threat mitigation, crowd safety, and emergency preparedness. This work further reinforces my commitment to proactive risk management and public safety beyond traditional law-enforcement settings.
