CRPOA is governed by a member-elected board of directors. Three of the nine directors are elected each year and serve three-year terms. Board members meet formally, typically by conference call, at least five times per year and are in contact by telephone and email frequently.
The board of directors elect officers each year who serve one-year terms. The officers manage the day-to-day activities of the Association. Read about the annual elections and election process here.

Election Process and Information
CRPOA’s Bylaws require the annual election of three directors. The election process starts in January and ends on May 31 (or the next business day if May 31 falls on a weekend).
If you are interested in seeking a position on the board of directors next spring, fill out the form: 2025 Director Candidate Nomination Petition and Signature form.
You might consider running for the board if you have a sincere desire to expend a great deal of energy for your organization. You cannot become a director and just sit back. You need time to contribute, a thick skin and the ability to work with a diverse group of people. Serving as a director can be a fulfilling and rewarding endeavor. Directors serve for a term of three-years.
The seats of the three directors whose terms expire this coming May are available for you to strive for, but many people don’t run because they feel they won’t have a chance against an incumbent. That’s not true; incumbents have been defeated in the past. This is an opportune time for you to consider serving your Association in an important way.
