Firearms-Related Laws
Have questions about gun laws? We can explain both federal and state regulations, including CCW laws for active and retired officers, and rules about large capacity magazines and assault weapons. While we can’t offer formal legal advice, we’ll help you understand the basics so you can make informed decisions.
Administrative & Disciplinary Matters
Facing a department policy violation or other work-related disciplinary action? We’ll represent you in these administrative cases, guiding you through the process and attending interviews or hearings to support you when needed. We’re here to help with issues related to your duties but not criminal or personal liability cases.
Litigation
If a major administrative issue impacts many members, we may decide to take legal action to protect you and others. If CRPOA steps in, we’ll cover the legal costs, but we’re not required to pursue every case or defend individual lawsuits. We can also advise you on how to handle legal claims if your agency isn’t supporting you.
