CRPOA members are covered for $35,000 in AD&D through a Chubb-backed blanket policy at no additional cost. Family coverage extends to spouses and dependents, with additional benefits for carjacking, coma, psychological therapy, rehabilitation, and seat belt protection.
Temporary Total Disability
If an on-duty or off-duty accident leaves you unable to work, this coverage pays $500 per week for up to 26 weeks, with a 7-day elimination period. Available to members ages 18–70, this benefit helps replace lost income while you recover.
Voluntary Buy-Up Option
Members can expand their coverage for $3.00/month, adding 24-hour AD&D at $35,000, felonious assault, survivor income, child care expense benefits, and more. Full details and enrollment are available through your member portal.
Hospital, Evacuation & Occupational Hazard Benefits
CRPOA members receive a $250/day hospital indemnity benefit (up to 30 days), $5,000 medical evacuation and repatriation coverage, $5,000 natural disaster benefit, and occupational HIV and Hepatitis coverage at 25% of the principal sum.
