The Annual Reserve Peace Officers Conference (ARPOC) is CRPOA’s premier statewide training and professional development event for California’s reserve peace officers, law enforcement volunteers, and search and rescue members.
Held annually, ARPOC brings together law enforcement professionals from across the state for intensive POST-certified training, expert-led instruction, and meaningful peer connection. The conference is designed specifically to address the unique responsibilities, challenges, and operational realities faced by reserve officers and part-time law enforcement personnel.
Each ARPOC conference delivers 24 hours of POST-qualifying training within California’s Continuing Professional Training cycle. Courses are taught by experienced instructors, subject-matter experts, and leaders from across the law enforcement community, covering both foundational and emerging topics that directly impact officer safety, decision-making, and professional readiness.
Beyond training, ARPOC serves as an important forum for collaboration and recognition. Attendees have the opportunity to connect with peers, coordinators, instructors, and industry partners, strengthening the statewide reserve officer network. The conference also features the ARPOC Awards Program, which honors reserve officers, coordinators, and volunteers who demonstrate exceptional service, leadership, and commitment to their communities.
For more than five decades, ARPOC has remained a cornerstone of CRPOA’s mission to elevate professional standards, support reserve officers, and advocate for the role of reserves within California law enforcement.
